Monks and sisters at the renovated Dalmanutha II
Tabgha, September 28, 2012. Today on the feast of Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila, the first Filipino saint and martyr the monks and the sisters in Tabgha had a Solemn Mass at “Dalmanutha II” which is located close to the sisters’ monastery at the sea shore.
During the last weeks this outside altar and its surrounding has been renovated: A stronger roof above the altar itself and for the assembly was installed and also the ground has been renewed. “Dalmanutha II” will serve for smaller groups of pilgrims (about 30) when “Dalmanutha I” is needed for a bigger group.
Furthermore this renewed place will be used especially by our Philippine sisters as a place for common and personal prayer and meditation.
